TOPCO Phillipps, Inc.
The majority of our leads come from personal referral. However we are also listed in the Yellowbook, on the internet and we belong to various business groups. Below are the steps which you can expect to go through when you contracting a job with us.
Homeowner Interior Painting Services:
- The referral: Most of our clients are referred to us by past customers. We do get new customers via yellowbook, web searches, newspaper ads, etc. but the majority of new customers come from personal referral.
- The initial call: We will collect some preliminary information on your project like the site address, quick summary of painting service needed and schedule. We will then set up a “site visit” with you to come out and look at the project.
- Site Visit: During this step we want to establish the scope of work by looking at the projects current condition, size, and resource requirements. We will also need to know quality levels, time and details desired. All this and much more is critical to pricing your project correctly.
- The written estimate: You will be emailed, faxed or mailed a written estimate that is specific to your painting project. The estimate usually outlines your project pricing as follows:
- Included Scope
- Assumptions
- Alternate pricing as applicable
- Exclusions
- Contracting of work: Just give us a call or send us an email to lets us know you want to contract the scope of work estimated.
- Scheduling of project: Upon contracting with us, we will reserve a place in our schedule. If you have scheduling preferences we can almost always accommodate them.
- Painting of project: Day 1 of our projects usually start at 8:00 a.m. or as otherwise scheduled. We will work on your project until it is complete. We won’t pull off the job and restart then pull off etc. Starting and stopping usually only occurs if the weather compromises us or if the project schedule dictates. It is our objective to start the job, work the job, finish the job without delay or break.
- Project sign off and approval: Your assigned foreman is responsible for accomplishing the contract work in a quality fashion. You will be given the final sign off on the contracted scope of work. If corrections need to be made, the foreman will make the corrections before you are invoiced.
- Invoice and payment: Once you have signed off on the completed project we will send you an invoice. Most payments occur in the form of a check or credit card.
